Description
Black Jack is powered by a rare Arden overhead valve Ford engine, custom built by Art Chrisman. Equipped with a one-of-a-kind billet blower and manifold with a custom designed stainless steel tube oiling system for the valve train. In 2001, Black Jack won Best Engine Rod and class winner at Grand National Roadster Show and Best in Class Street Altered Roadster at Autorama in Detroit. Pictured in Super Rod, Street Rodder and featured in Rod and Custom and Rodders Journal. Black Jack is a steel Brookville bodied roadster that reflects 2.1/2 years of custom craftsmanship by Chuck Lombardo Jr., of California Street Rods. Art Chrisman, the father of flatheads, personally built this engine over a 2.1/2 year time frame. Art states "there will never be another motor like this one!" Black Jack is a 425 hp roadster and a piece of automotive history. The rarest of the rare! Flatheads are forever and so is Black Jack!
