The 235cid and 4-speed hydra-matic transmission have been rebuilt. The frame, wheels and many other parts have been powdercoated. The bed is oak with powdercoated rails and has polished stainless carriage bolts. All bodywork, painting and upholstery was professionally done by Midwest Hot Rods in Plainfield, IL. Intake, exhaust manifold and exhaust system are powdercoated with aluminum. 3.55 ring gear was installed in differential for highway driving. Has sway bars for improved handling in corners. Improved starter system designed to eliminate solenoid activated starter. Assures starter pinion is engaged with ring gear before starter is activated. 12-volt system with 6-volt step down for ignition system. Electric wiper motor installed to eliminate vacuum lag. Radiator shroud fabricated for cooling in hot weather and safety issues. Vintage aluminum rocker arm and pushrod cover.
