This fabulous Thunderbird was sold new in Oakland, CA and has been in the same family since 1973. It is a dry Western car, spending it's entire life in California and then Nevada before moving to the Seattle area. This car was restored over the course of several years, finished in 1991, and won several local level awards in and around the Bay area. In the restoration, it was kept original, redone is its factory Goldenrod Yellow with black and yellow two tone interior. It is highly equipped with two tops, Kelsey Hayes wire wheels, power seat, power windows, engine dress-up kit and air conditioning. An aftermarket cassette player is in the stock space, 12 volt electrical conversion and 3-speed transmission upgrade were added during restoration. The car has been pampered and carefully enjoyed since the restoration and has just received a fresh engine bay detailing. It shows and drives great. Included with the purchase is a copy of the original invoice, $18,000 in old receipts, owner's manual, a letter from the previous owner and extra keys.
