This car started out as a rust-free California car. Five years ago, it was professionally re-created as a lightweight. The car now has fiberglass inner and outer front fenders, radiator support, hood, front and rear bumpers and brackets and trunk lid. Many steps were taken to severely lighten the car. It now weighs approximately 3,300lbs without the driver. The 1962 406cid engine has been totally rebuilt with some of the best quality race parts available. The transmission is a reverse valve body unit with an air shifter. The rear suspension is custom mounted on monoleaf springs with Caltrac traction bars.
