I bought this car in June 2002 from an individual from Glenwood Spring, Colorado. Has Build Sheet from the factory, which I returned under the front seat. When I bought it, it was Grabber Blue, a 1970 color. Parts from a Mach 1 have been added, Shaker Hood, seats, console and clock. By February 2003 the top, front and rear suspension with stabilizers was redone. Disassembled, stripped, sand-blasted and repainted after some metalwork. Reassembled by November 2006. The interior is 1970 standard and new. The motor is a 1972 351C, 4V heads with the original intake, it was rebuilt in 1990, unsure of the bore, serial # begins D2AE-CA and has a "4" on the front upper part of each head. I went back to a milder cam, dropped an Igniter into the distributor to eliminate the points, an Edelbrock carburetor and Hooker headers with 2½" stainless steel Magna-X for the exhaust. The transmission is a completely redone 1979 C6 with a shift kit. The rear end is a Ford 9" with a 2.75 ratio. I have a lot invested in this car, gained a lot of experience rebuilding it and had fun with it. A very original-looking custom with two-stage paint.
