6.6L car with 3-speed automatic transmission. Finished in factory Platinum Silver with Carmine Red Lombardy, 66,000 actual mile car that has received a full mechanical restoration. The car retains all of its originality that Pontiac intended, however the engine, transmission/, rear end and brakes have been upgraded over stock for the purpose of road rallying. The engine is now 461cid, polished and ported high flow heads, custom grind cam, super duty 800 CFM carburetor, the transmission is also upgraded. The brakes have benefited from a rear disc conversion and the suspension has been set up to Herb Adam's specifications. The car sits on original style Rally II wheels, they are however reproduction 8" items to cope with the power increase and shod with BF Goodrich T/A's. Interior is stock with the exception of a Valentine One radar detector and a period Cobra CB with trunk mounted whip, car retains its factory air conditioning. All work was carried out by Gas Monkey Garage in Texas. The only external visual modification is the use of a 1972 Trans Am functional shaker to increase air flow. Car has factory T-tops and retains original Hurst bag in the trunk next to matching 5th Rally II. Car is factory Ziebart car, so it has survived superbly. This car was used in the official Bull Run Rally 2007 from Montreal to Key West. It was then taken to Europe by its owner and placed in his car collection in London. This car is ready to be enjoyed and can be used as an every day driver or used for events. The car retains its Bull Run livery from 2007 but can be easily removed.
