The 1994 Ford Mustang Cobra convertible became the third Mustang to pace the track at the Indianapolis 500. 1,000 replicas of the pace car were produced. The red over tan Cobra convertible used to pace the race was powered by a modified 5.0 Liter V8. The addition of GT40 heads, 5-speed transmission, variable rate springs, dual stainless exhaust tube headers, Mach 460 sound system, remote keyless entry, speed control, anti-lock brakes, leather sport seats with Cobra Indy logos, 17"x8" cast aluminum wheels and z rated tires raised the MSRP to $26,845. This car has been in dry storage since it was built and remains sealed in the factory plastic and has the original factory Window Sticker in place. With 45 original miles the car come with an original Indy 500 race day program, race ticket stub, pit pass badge and SVT Cobra introduction advertising poster.
