Lot #641.1 - This truck is an early example of today's Ford pickup. In 1915 there were few automobile manufacturers and none that built trucks for general use. Ford then manufactured the cab and chassis and sent them to the Martin-Perry body company for the truck beds and bodies, not unlike how it is done today. These trucks were used by farmers to haul their goods to market and General Stores to get their supplies from the railroad depots and to make local deliveries. The trucks came standard with oversized tires and wheels to compensate for the loads that they carried on basically all dirt roads. This is a complete frame off restoration with every detail addressed and runs great. Own a piece of history or use it to do your shopping at the mall.
