Lot #1002.1 - This completely scratch-built roadster rides on a custom-built chassis featuring chrome Indy Car style twin A-arm suspension with pushrod actuated dampers. The inboard mounted front adjustable coilover shocks can be seen through the grille. The rear suspension also features twin A-arms with pushrod actuated dampers along with a Halibrand quick change rear end with inboard disc brakes with trunk-mounted shocks. A 350cid LT1 small block with aluminum heads and twin external turbochargers providing 6 lbs of boost provides you with a streetable 450hp. If that's not enough, boost can be increased to yield 650hp. The intercooler for the turbos is mounted up front while exhaust gasses escape via a pair of shorty side pipes with chambered mufflers and turnout tips. A GM 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission transfers power from the engine to the rear wheels while a trunk mounted cooling system keeps the engine bay devoid of extra plumbing. The stunning body of this car is painted Orion Silver over Rosso Corsa with black pinstripes, while the very bottom is painted in Metallic Charcoal. The incredible visual details of this car continues with a frameless glass windshield, headlights mounted inside the grille and Billet Specialties wheels with a polished outer rim and black powder coated centers shod with Nitto NT 235/35-19 front and 285/35-22 rear tires. The attention to detail does not stop there. Underneath the car, the oil pan and transmission are painted with realistic flames. The simple and elegant black leather interior with suede door panel inserts features black vinyl custom Euro-style bucket seats with chrome grommets, while the floor pan is covered in black pile carpeting. Topping off the tilt adjustable steering column is a Budnik steering wheel, while centrally mounted Classic Instruments gauges keep you informed of essential information. This completely custom roadster is as much fun to drive as it is to look at.
