Description

Lot #5005 - The Bentley Royal was conceived, designed and created by retro designer and master craftsman Gary Wales as a mobile salute to C.S. Rolls, Henry Royce and W.O. Bentley to show that a viable automobile could be built by using parts from one marque covering a span of over seventy years. The Bentley Royal incorporates components from every type of Rolls-Royce and Bentley motorcar, from Silver Ghost to Bentley Azure. To accomplish his dream, Mr. Wales utilized the mechanical genius of two time Hot Rod Hall of Fame winner Kent Fuller to blend the two 6 Liter Phantom 4 Rolls-Royce motors into a single massive 16 cylinder, 12 Liter tour de force. The result was this beautiful and functional Picasso of rolling automotive sculpture.
