Lot #1284 - This is one of 2 such Packard 160 Panel Broughams that were hand built by Rollson Inc. of New York. Rollson was a well known coach builder who became recognized for low production, high quality custom bodies that were used on cars such as Packard and Duesenberg. The car is a Super 8 which features a large straight 8 engine and has ownership history back to 1955. The car has been fully restored and is equipped with factory overdrive, side mount spare tires, coach lamps, bud vases, vanities with beveled glass mirrors, a speaker phone, jump seats and silk sun shades. It is a rare coach built Packard that drives exceptionally well.
