Lot #161 - The auto companies could sell anything they produced in 1947 and charge about any price for it. Imagine what price this Chevy Convertible could bring under those circumstances! This particular car was restored by Glenn Shaffer to his "Dusenberg quality" standards along with various upgrades and modifications to replicate the teenage dream machine which he wished he had owned as a high school senior in 1950. 216 cubic inches, 90 horsepower, 6 cylinder engine. Fenton dual intake and dual exhaust, dual carbs, 3-speed overdrive transmission, fender skirts and Wayne valve cover.
