Lot #1560 - A multiple show winner and 8-year build project. 2008 Grand National Roadster invitational Extreme Hot Rod category participant. A drivable, enjoyable full custom rod that evokes the feeling of a modern day luxury coupe. A 3 ?" chopped, 6" channeled, sectioned full custom. Frame features 1978 Z28 Camaro with coil over shocks. Rear frame is new steel 2"x4" boxed with Morrison four link suspension, narrowed Ford 9" differential and Detroit Locker 3.73 gears. Four wheel disc brakes. Hood is decked, hinged side to side, removed open sides with Naca air inlet. Nosed and frenched center cut grille. Cowl cut hideaway wipers with frenched pop up headlights. Firewall shortened and smoothed. Front fenders widened, frenched and flared 4". Rear fenders are frenched, tubbed and feature frenched taillights. Paint is two stage PPG two tone; dark blue to green capped with Fawn Gold metallic upper. Powered by a 351cid Cleveland rated a 400hp, four IDA 48mm Webers sit on a Pantera manifold atop Boss heads, custom heat wrapped headers. Transmission is a beefed Ford CJ with a Hole Shot convertor. Interior features custom cloth upholstery dash, front and rear consoles. VDO classic gauges, Vintage Air, power windows, trunk, door and antenna. Custom leather and remote keyless entry. Centerline Convo Pro Wheels carrying Mickey Thompson tires.
