Lot #684 - I have owned and restored this beautiful Polo White 'Vette for the last 18 years. It has the correct numbers and date codes. Rebuilt motor and transmission. Runs, looks and drives fantastic. Come by and see me with the car for your questions. Don't let this beauty slip by you. Classic Polo White and red interior with beige softtop. 235cid Inline 6-cylinder, 155hp engine. Being a late-production example the car is complete with all the options offered for 1954 including signal seeking AM radio, parking brake alarm, courtesy lights, turn signals and heater. I have owned this lovely example for the last 18 years. I started the lengthy process of making the car mechanically sound. As a master mechanic and fabricator, I have the professional skills to carry out the work. I like and expect my vehicles to look and run good. Things I have done since I owned her. Rebuilt the Powerglide automatic transmission. While I had the transmission out, we flipped the motor over and opened up the pan, she looked good but for less the $200, I put new rod and main bearings in the bottom end just to know she was sound and I would never have to get back into it. I rebuilt and cleaned the carbs several times as they are quite easy to work on. As is the distributor and valve adjustments, most old cars are maintenance friendly. I checked and set them every time she ran. Replaced the front and rear springs and put on new shocks. It handles much better and carves the road now. Installed a new exhaust, rebuilt the generator and regulator, a new wiring harness, has bright lights and starts easy. I also installed a high buck Al Knoch interior. It's the best. She has the correct wheel covers in excellent condition, correct date code on windshield, correct air cleaner covers, correct wide white wall tires and wheels and much more. Note: Car does have original side curtains, and has the original softtop still in good condition after 54 years.
