Lot #338 - With the TF, MG sent the venerable T series out with a bang. The final iteration of this classic look for MG is generally considered the best with its 1.5 liter motor, twin carburetors, lower, sleeker body work, and integrated headlights. The example you see here is an all original car that has spent its entire life in the Pacific Northwest. It has had only two known owners and has never needed to have a full restoration carried out. This car is very well preserved overall with lots of lovely patina and original pieces still in place. Details include wire knock-off wheels, low "Brooklands" windscreens, original tools, proper spare mounted on the rear, baskets over the headlights, and even neat car show plaques from the '70s under the hood on the tool box lid. This car drives very well and has been driven with regularity, including a recent tour of western Washington, to ensure that it has stayed fresh. Truly a unique, original, collectible, loveable, drivable MG.
