Lot #1275.2 - A fabulous custom '55 Eldorado designed by the Tompkins brothers and Hall of Famer John D'Agostino. It features incredible mint and teal pearl-blended PPG paints applied by the master, Art Himsl and crocodile and Swedish leather interior by Bob Divine custom interiors. Drivetrain has been completely redone by Steve White, Nick Kooy and the entire gang at A&A Auto Parts & Sales. Chopped and sectioned convertible, rolled pans, redesigned bumpers and grille with fantastic chromework by Sherm's Custom Plating in Sacramento. This car has been a winner at every show. Won the coveted Gene Winfield D'Elegance Award. "Elmerado" was also the feature on the European Tour in 2006. "Elmerado" - a '50s dream car named for the Tompkins brothers' dad, Elmer.
