Lot #453 - This absolutely gorgeous Bel Air has a production #2 Bohannon Industries fiberglass body chopped 3" and painted a beautiful PPG Vibrance Collection Sunburst Orange and pearl and is constructed on an Art Morrison Tri-5 production #3 chassis that has been treated to a chrome silver powder coating. Front and rear chrome gas adjustable coilovers, as well as front and rear polished Wilwood disc brakes and a tri-angulated 4-link Ford 9" rear with Strange axles and 3.90 gears round out this beautifully detailed chassis. A custom stainless steel gas tank feeds this very powerful 427 small block Chevy with billet Tru-Trac front drive, polished aluminum radiator, chrome supports and is backed by a 700R4 transmission with 3 ?" aluminum driveshaft. This '55 sports a Vintage Air and heat system, 16" front and 18" rear wheels with knock-offs wrapped in Goodyear Eagle tires, all new chrome and stainless with a billet aluminum grille, shaved trunk, shaved hood and shaved doors. This beauty has a custom tan leather and ultra-suede interior including custom seats and dark tan Bentley carpet. The custom console is also wrapped in tan leather and ultra-suede with polished and milled radio plate that reads '55 SS to match the custom sill plates. The stunning interior is finished off with polished dash inserts, polished air controls and gauge bezels, white faced Auto Meter gauges and a Pioneer stereo with a 2000 watt amplifier, two 12" subwoofers, two 6"x9" rear speakers as well as two 6" combination speakers in the front.
