Lot #713 - In 1955 the KR200 entered the 24 hour race and broke 22 international speed records in its class, including the 24-hour speed record, which it set at 103 km/h (64 mph). The Messerschmitt KR200 "Kabin Roller" was built by a German fighter plane company after WWII in 1955. This frame-off complete restoration was done to the highest standards. It has hydraulic shocks on all three wheels, electric start, an air cooled 2-stroke engine, 4-speed manual transmission, bubble canopy and is an original Micro Car from Europe from the mid-50's. A real time machine and exceptionally rare. It starts, drives and stops as it was designed to. From the Scott Thomas Collection.
