Description
Lot #768 - 1957 saw a sharp decline in auto sales, due to a minor recession. Buick suffered the largest sales loss of all GM makes wiht a 24% deline in calendar year production, making the 1957's particularly desirable due to their rarity. All Buicks this year featured a totally new 364 cubic inch engine with bore and stroke of 4.1x3.4 inches. In the Roadmaster series, it featured 10:1 compression and 300 horsepower. Only 4,363 Roadmaster convertibles were built in the 1957 model year. This Roadmaster is an incredible car it may be the only one of its with the original accessories. In addition to the original air conditioning( almost never ordered on convertible back then), it features power windows, power seats, Kelsey- Hayes wire wheels, and continental kit. It shines in its brilliant red paint and white convertible top. It feature the optional Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels with wide white walls. Continental spare tire kit. Red leather interior. Beautifully detailed engine compartment. Car cover. It's a black plate California car too! *TITLE IN TRANSIT*
