MADADOR RED W/BEIGE TOP
Lot #460 - This california car is an excellent example of a 1957 fuel injected chevrolet bel air convertible. An older restoration with exterior of matador red, beige power convertible top and correct red & silver interior. This car has power steering, radial wide white side wall tires and spinner hubcaps. Everything works from turn signals to clock to spotlight. Radio looks authentic but is an am/fm tape with cd stacker. This car was owned for several years by actor/producer "bo" svenson who starred in " walking tall" as well as approximately 40 other movies. While it cannot be confirmed, it is believed this car was originally owned by screen legend steve mcqueen, who had a red 1957 bel air convertible, fuel injection, automatic, built in the van nuys factory, just as this was. Hence the license plate "grt escp".
