Lot #321 - Titled and registered as a 1957 Porsche special constructed. It was manufactured to exacting standards using all new or rebuilt components. Cosmetically, it is very difficult to tell this car apart from an original with its correct badges, banjo steering wheel, square weave carpets, well-fitted cloth top, side curtains and boot cover. Genuine Porsche emblems complete the look, but it runs and drives like a dependable, modern, comfortable car with front disk brakes and even cold air conditioning for those warmer days. The 65hp Flat 4 engine is outfitted with dual carburetors and newer suspension parts. The instrument cluster includes a speedometer with trip odometer, tachometer, fuel, oil temperature gauge and a host of other details that are done just right. The newer components and updated technology make this car a competent performer, a very user friendly tourer and a reliable companion that is a pleasure to drive.
