Lot #762 - This 1962 Austin Healey 3000 MKII has been totally restored with a body-off rotisserie restoration by Healey Lane of Oregon. This model features the rare, one year only, triple carburetor engine. It also has the upgraded center shift transmission with overdrive which was a factory upgrade mid-way through production. This car was sold new in California and has only been in Oregon for 5 years. The restoration included all new or re-plated chrome and fasteners. Many parts were also powdercoated including top bows and most suspension parts and brackets. The engine and transmission received a total professional rebuild. The engine has the no-lead head, rear crankshaft retro-fit seal kit and was balanced for smoothness. All hydraulics are new including brake lines. Being a California car, it still retains the original sheet metal, floors, body parts, etc and has never been wrecked. The interior is full leather with Wilton wool carpet, English Everflex top and tonneau. This is a great Healey.
