Description
Lot #617 - This beautifully restored droptop was previously owned by Mickey Jones, actor/musician of "Home Improvement" fame and former drummer for Bob Dylan, Kenny Rogers, Trini Lopez and Johnny Rivers. The restoration included a 1600cc engine rebuilt by Competition Import Service, a 6 to 12-volt conversion, Mercedes carpet and Porsche leather interior, new paint and a rebuilt suspension. Upon completion, it was a gift to Mickey's wife Phyllis and carries a California Pink slip (title) in her name. Included with the purchase is a notebook with autographed memorabilia from Mickey concerning this convertible and its history.
