Description

Lot #994 - 1964 Austin-Healey Phase I MK III BJ8 restored with a full body-off rotisserie concours restoration by John and Robert Wilson of Healey Lane Restoration of Oregon. The national Austin-Healey Club concours guide was used for the restoration. The car comes with a photo album of the restoration along with a British Heritage certificate (factory Build Sheet) which shows that this Healey left the factory in this great Healey Ice Blue color with Navy Blue interior. The interior has been upgraded to full soft leather which was a factory option when new. The top and boot are made of the original English Everflex material. All chrome is either new or re-plated in triple show chrome. There are five new tubeless chrome wheels with stainless steel spokes. Many original fasteners, brackets, etc. have been zinc plated. Many suspension parts, prop rods, brackets and the top bows have been powder coated for beauty and durability. The engine was taken apart and new parts installed as needed. The transmission and overdrive is in excellent condition and works just like it did when new. This Healey came from Texas so it was a nice dry car and has never been hit.
