This is an absolutely gorgeous, 1965 Austin Healey 3000 MKIII BJ8 that has just undergone a complete frame-off rotisserie nut and bolt restoration by one of the "best Austin Healey restorer in the business, Kurt Tanner out of California. Tanner restored Healeys are well known for their attention to detail and authenticity. This example is powered by its original 2912cc overhead cam six cylinder engine producing 150 horsepower. It comes with its 4-speed manual transmission with overdrive and front disc and rear drum brakes. Concours quality restoration, attention to detail like no other and finished in the beautiful Sage Green metallic, this is truly a one of a kind motorcar. The BJ8 was first introduced in 1963 and remained in production until 1967. The BJ8 brought many improvements over its predecessor, the BJ7 which included the twin two SU HD8 carburetors on the six cylinder engines capable of producing 150 horsepower and 173 foot pounds of torque and the exhaust system was repositioned which gave the new BJ8 greater ground clearance. Truly a benchmark automobile, the Austin Healey 3000 MKIII BJ8 continues to be one of the most Collectible cars in the world.
