Description

Lot #681.1 - This is a 1965 Corvette Convertible Resto-Mod with fresh mirror-like Rally Red paint with a new white/red interior which is correct per the trim tag and brand new side pipes and covers. This vehicle was professionally built. Less than 2,000 miles since build. Built upon a new powdercoated chassis, this car has an LS6 405hp Z06 crate engine with a polished S&P pulley system, a SpearTech engine harness with custom programmed computer and throttle by wire accelerator control. It also has a complete Vintage Air conditioning system, a new Tremec 5-speed with a Lakewook scatter shield, a new Hays clutch, hydraulic throw-out bearing system and a Keisler Corvette look-a-like shifter. To enhance drivability, this Resto-Mod had Steeriods rack & pinion power steering, VBP adjustable rear trailing arms, new composite monoleaf springs front and rear and new Gabriel shock absorbers. It also had a new aluminum radiator with electric cooling fans. Brakes are SSBC calipers with slotted rotors, SSBC braided stainless brake lines and a brand new Master Power brake booster and master cylinder set-up. This beauty rides on brand new Coys rims and high performance tires. Every nut and bolt on this car is new or restored. This car starts and runs like a new car, drives with ease due to power steering and brakes, stops on a dime, gets over 20 miles per gallon, and yet it retains the classic look and sound of a mid-year Corvette.
