Lot #18 - This is truly a one-of-a-kind car that was built as a re-creation of the Shelby GT350 roadster. It was custom-built with no expense spared, and less than 2500 miles since completion. Body/trim: Beautiful Viper Blue paint with White LeMans stripes. Car was stripped to bare metal (media blasted) and professionally painted, Tony Branda steel reinforced fiberglass scoop hood with hood pins and R-Model bumper-less front valance. Mair racing wing trunk lid and end caps, shaved door handles and locks, shaved trunk lock, new chrome and exterior trim, new tail light lenses and bezels and new GT350 gas cap. Factory convertible windshield trim is in excellent shape with new windshield. Has no top or windows. Engine/transmission: Fully rebuilt 1968 302 block. Aftermarket World Products cast iron heads with oversized valves. Roller tipped rockers, with guide plates and screw-in studs/hardened pushrods, Lunati 292 duration, .512 lift cam with matching springs/retainers and Edelbrock 4-barrel manifold. New Holley polished 4-barrel carb, polished finned aluminum Edelbrock valve covers and air cleaner, high volume oil pump, Mallory Unilite distributor with pro-master coil, new alternator and voltage regulator ad tube headers with dual 2 chamber Flowmaster exhaust. through the rear valance - GT-style. Centerforce gold clutch with new linkage and pedal hanger. Recently rebuilt 5-speed transmission with Hurst shifter. Suspension/brakes: Fully rebuilt front suspension and steering system. KYB gas charged shocks. New 5 leaf reverse eye leaf springs with new shackles/bushings. American Racing torque thrust D-rims with BF Goodrich tires and rebuilt factory brakes. Interior: Refinished dash and doors. New door panels, sill plates, kick panels and visors. Late model adjustable front seats with new upholstery. Pony rear seat with new upholstery. Newer carpet, good dash pad, new 15" wood steering wheel, new instrument bezel, Hurst white ball shifter knob, original factory Rally-Pac with tachometer and clock, mechanical push button door releases, trunk has plaid mat, spare tire cover, and tote bag. Complete with 1965 Mustang owner's manual and GT350 manual. Reinforcement bars were added to the chassis to ensure rigid stability.
