Lot #1139 - Commissioned by Caroll Shelby, the CSX 4000 Continuation Series was everything the legendary 427 cobras are and more. Built on the same line as CSX 3031 which was among the very few that was finished to Semi-Competition S/C specifications and is finished in Guardsman Blue along with white side pipe exhaust. Built at Shelby American Las Vegas, super early car, the 21st cobra sold to the public. Rolling chassis completed April 23, 1997, 428 SCJ engine built by noted engine builder, Stan Johnson of Ford Power Train Pupallup, WA. Fully balanced rotating assembly with resized LeMans rods. Aluminum Cobra Jet heads by Bliss. Blue Thunder aluminum intake with correct Holly 780 carburetor with Turkey Baster, 4-speed top loader transmission with 3.54 DANA rear end. Correct Lucas wiring and lights, Galaxie reversed shifter and black leather interior. Trigo chrome knock-off wheels, chrome quick jacks and roll bar, remote filter, correct 15" Shelby steering wheel, fiberglass body with aluminum dress up kit, including fender wells and trunk. This Cobra was featured in two X-Box 360 Games, Project Gotham Racing 4 and Forza Motorsports 3. Two owner car with all documentation and receipts. Original copy MSO signed by Carroll Shelby.
