Description

Lot #1101 - Built as a licensed continuation model, this Mustang carries Shelby American serial number CSC040, as well as the blessing of Carroll Shelby himself. It has the all-aluminum 427ci small block V8. Number 40 in production, it is offered here in this spectacular Silver GT350SR Fastback. The car is unique because it commemorates both the GT350 and the big block Cobra, and is paired with big-block-worthy 585hp through a Tremec 5-speed to a Currie rear end with TrueTrac differential and 3.25 gears. It boasts incredible handling, the result of highly modified steering and suspension, 4-wheel disc brakes and performance rubber on custom Foose wheels. Special body work, silver paint with blue racing stripes and Shelby markings ensure its identity. The car's Shelby DNA is also evident in the sharp blue interior, which, in addition to air conditioning and custom sound, features Shelby instrumentation, controls and carpeting. It has just 700 miles since its completion.
