Lot #696 - A rare Laguna Blue car that was built on Oct. 28, 1965, and is powered by the completely rebuilt and blueprinted, matching-numbers L-72 427/425hp engine. The block date code is Sept. 22, 1965. The heads are original rectangle intake ports, date coded Sept. 30, 1965. Other power-enhancing factory options include transistor ignition system, rare off-road exhaust system, posi-traction rear axle and the M21 close-ratio 4-speed. Comfort features include genuine leather seating, Soft Ray tinted glass (all windows), teakwood steering wheel, telescopic steering column and AM/FM radio. All of this power and beauty ride on Goldwall Firestone tires. Documentation includes service receipts from 1973, including Dick Guldstrand service, as well as all parts and labor charges.
