Lot #760 - This has been professionally built with an extensive level of detail and many upgrades not normally found on a Cobra re-creation. Power is delivered via a Ford SVO 460 crate engine M-6009-E460 with roller cam, Super Cobra Jet aluminum heads, aluminum high rise topped with a fast 2.0 electronic fuel injection and a return style electric fuel pump. It has complete streetability with a powerful 580+ horsepower on regular pump gas. It also has full-length headers with dual side exhaust that are ceramic plated. The engine is adorned with all the Cobra accessories, from the air filter cover, to valve covers, March polished pulleys and brackets with chrome alternator, aluminum radiator and polished overfill tank with electric fan and transmission cooler. Backing up the tremendous power of this V8 monster, is a Ford C6 automatic with Kevlar clutches and full manual valve body built by Trans-Design. To make this power train complete, the rear end is a Ford 9" with a 3.50:1 gear ratio rolling on Nitto Extreme 245-45-17 front and 275-45-17 rear with Cobra-style aluminum wheels with simulated knock-offs. The axle is mounted to the rigid tubular frame with 4-link suspension with full adjustable coilover suspension in all four corners. It features tubular A-arm front suspension with quick-ratio power rack & pinion steering and manual Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes with proportional valve. It's painted in a beautiful deep Mica Blue with traditional white stripes which shows super well and has been color sanded to a mirror-like image. The full custom interior is done in a beautiful Italian black leather and deep pile carpet. It has a Lokar shifter with reverse lock out and full set of Auto Meter gauges. Dual chrome roll bars meet NHRA track standard along with a 5-point Simpson racing harness. The build is fully documented with detailed photos and two binders of all parts /components used in it construction. It has also had a full DOT inspection with road certification.
