Description
Lot #1530.2 - Holding the GM 572 crate big block is a NASCAR-channeled tubular steel sub-frame with Air Ride system front suspension, rack & pinion steering, Wilwood brakes all around, high intake manifold with 950 Demon carburetor, 1/2" fuel lines, 4-core heavy duty radiator, Ceramic Kevlar racing clutch, Titanium driveline and u-joint, Muncie M22 billet steel transmission, Headers with 3" Flowmaster exhaust, Ladder bar custom suspension system, Curry racing suspension for rear end, Ford 9" rear end with 325 gears, Gear to Gear high performance starter, Rally II 15" wheels with Mickey T street slicks, dyno tested 540hp at the rear wheel, K-40 laser/radar jammer detection system. 9 second quarter that's a daily driver. This car is the ultimate sleeper. This car runs on street gas. It has been a blast when I cruise to town and on the highway hopped up cars with kids driving them thinking that they are about to film "Fast and Furious III" with me try to pass and I never let them get ahead, then at 120 mph to 130 mph when they top out I cruise for a second or two longer and raise my hands in a "is that it?" pose and when they nod yes I floor it and almost instantly at 165 mph to 175 mph. I'm always curious what they are thinking. They thought it might be a 400cc in good shape but no way this car can do that with nothing sticking out of the hood. The wheels never hop. The suspension allows you to cruise at 165 mph without any floating whatsoever. This is a racecar with a license plate legal to drive and runs on street gas. Pure joy for a person who both craves and can handle massive raw power. The whole car is brand new, just the body is left from the old car. I dropped the 572 big block engine in the old car and it snapped the frame in half. There are no weak links unless you count the tires as such, and they will hook up. Good luck owning this classic beauty and make heads turn wherever you go. This car is meant to drive, too.
