Lot #1263 - #2545 is beautifully finished in her original color of Dark Moss Green with a black interior. This Shelby was a special order at Carroll Shelby dealership, Hi-Performance Motors. In addition to the base Ford performance equipment and the Shelby unique modifications, Hi-Performance Motors specified a large number of options raising the sticker price of this GT350 by 25%. These options included automatic transmission, air conditioning, Magstars, radio, California emissions and tinted glass. This car is well documented with copies of the original Shelby American invoices. It went unsold at Hi-Performance Motors and was traded to another performance Ford dealership in Pennsylvania, Pletcher Ford. All of the original literature, Shelby owner's manual, Ford Performance manual, sales and warranty information are included. A copy of the Window Sticker and a Marti Report, demonstrating this Shelby to be one of one with these options, complete this Shelby's documentation. #2545's history documents her move to Texas prior to her current owner's purchase. A ground-up, concours restoration to SAAC Division II standards was completed by Tri-City Mustang Restoration in St. Charles, MI. This car is matching numbers and all original ford sheet metal and components, as well as difficult to find Shelby parts were retained during the restoration. All major components are date code correct. An original 1967 Mustang AM/FM radio was added during the restoration. A complete photographic record of the restoration and copies of all invoices will be provided. Given the additional comfort oriented options on top of the special Shelby and Ford equipment, this car is a comfortable and rewarding performance car to drive. National awards and recognition received include achieving Concours "Triple Crown" status by winning SAAC-36 Gold, a MCA Grand National Gold and a Team Shelby Diamond Award. Other recognition received includes an invitation to the Concours of America, A SAAC Indiana Gold Concours Gold and multiple MCA Club awards including Best in Class and Best of Show. The passenger side dash is numbered and signed by Carroll Shelby. Also added by Mr. Shelby is a very fitting note for the car, "Green with Envy."
