Lot #1322 - Alchemist, 1968 Pro-Touring Mustang. Over 3,000 hours have gone into the restoration, with many fabricated one-of-a-kind parts. It's been painted with four coats of Midnight Royal Blue Metallic with Satin Silver stripes and clear coated with six coats of House of Kolor clear two-stage process. It features a 620hp, custom-built cowl induction hood, new Ford Racing Cobra block, fuel-injected, 4v DOHC bored and honed to 4.75. 4340 Forged 4.75 crankshaft with micro-polished journals, forged steel 5.933 MMR I-beam rods with ARP rod bolts, forged Manley pistons, Clevite rod and main bearings. It also has a Ford Racing oil pump, MMR performance water pump, ARP head studs, JBA stainless long tube headers, and custom-built polished stainless-steel exhaust with electric cutouts. It has Sullivan upper and lower intake with widemouth Accufab throttle body, D1 Procharger centrifugal supercharger, custom-built intercooler by IRC Fabrications, Tremec TKO 600 5-speed transmission with hydraulic clutch and Spec Stage 3 clutch with Spec aluminum flywheel. Additional features include Heidts Mustang II suspension with tubular control arms, 9" rear with Strange Engineering center and 31-spline axles, 4-link rear with 3.70 gears, front and rear adjustable coilovers, Hydroboost brake system, Aerospace 13" nickel-plated, drilled and slotted front rotors with 4-piston CNC machined caliper. Aerospace 12" nickel-plated, drilled and slotted rear rotors, 4-piston CNC machined caliper and tubular reinforced frame with TCP subframe connectors round it out. It rides on American Racing Shelby polished wheels with extreme contact tires. The interior features Phantom Auto Meter gauges with LED lighting, Procar seats with three-point harness, power locks and trunk, cutoff switch with memory saver, and custom carpet with wrapped roll bar.
