Lot #108 - 1968 GMC short bed Resto-Mod truck that shows and goes. Total frame-off restoration includes bead-blasted then powder-coated frame. Stunning Pearl White paint on top with gloss black running down the sides. Truck has been shaved, lowered and frenched, and rests on Boyd 20" wheels and dual headlights. V8 LS1 5.7-liter motor with new block, bored .040 over, balanced, a mild cam with electronic fuel injection, power manifold, K&N filter with ceramic-coated headers and true dual exhaust equals 450+hp. Comes with a 4-speed automatic 700R with shift kit, a DANA 44 rear end with Auburn limited-slip and 3.90 gears, stainless-steel brake lines with AN fittings, as well as stainless-steel bolts throughout the truck. Heavy-duty front and rear sway arms, Rhino-lined original steel bed and cab floor and Dynamat sound-deadening insulation. Fuel tank has been relocated to the rear with a hidden fuel cap behind the rear LED taillights. The interior is unmolested and left as stock except for the cut-in air conditioning vents. Power steering, tilt wheel, power windows, remote door access, Hydraulic brakes, thick Brahma bull two-tone black-and-white leather bench to match the black-and-white interior panels with silver pinstripes between the colors to match the same colors on the outside. All with a double-stitched leather-wrapped steering wheel. Drilled and slotted disc brakes on all four corners, Ron Davis radiator with electronic fans and billet accessories make the engine shine in its black box. Everything is in new condition with 700 miles on truck. Comes with original spec sheet showing the truck was manufactured in Fremont, CA. This truck has lived most of its life in Nevada and been kept in a climate-controlled garage.
