Lot #735 - Current owner purchased this Shelby 350 convertible in May 2011. It was painted red, which was not the original color. A full Marti report indicated it was originally Lime Gold. While there was 404 Shelbys that were produced that year in the GT350 model, the report shows there were only 28 that were Lime Gold. It has gone through full restoration, taking it back to the Lime Gold color. No expense has been spared in getting it restored. Besides the new paint there is a new white convertible top and the drums to operate the top have been replaced. The Marti report shows it had the extra cooling package, black decor, bucket seats and an automatic transmission. The engine is period correct. It has been signed by Carol Shelby, both on the black boot and the glove compartment. It drives well, the motor is good, power steering, power brakes and tilt-away steering column.
