Lot #1128.1 - This 1968 Shelby GT350 convertible is one of 404 convertibles produced in '68 according to its Marti report. It is one of 13 built painted Sunlit Gold with a white power convertible top and a 4-speed transmission. The car has power steering, power brakes, Tilt-Away steering wheel and extra cooling package. This car has been stored away since 2004 when it last changed hands. The car was repainted some years ago and still looks great today with its patina. The engine in the car is a non-matching-numbers 302 backed by the original Toploader 4-speed. It has most of the original under-hood parts on the car including the radiator, smog system, intake manifold and carburetor. Other than the aftermarket radio, the interior is original and really presents well. The car still has all its original date-coded glass including the windshield. Power top in white with its split glass back window looks great up or down. Here is a chance to own a great unrestored convertible '68 Shelby and either drive and enjoy it as it is, or restore it to perfection.
