Lot #1361 - This car was purchased in August 2002 from West Texas. It was basically a basket case. A rolling body with original 10 bolt rear end, non disc brakes, 350 trans and no motor. The car was striped of every nut and bolt. The body and sub frame dipped in a vat of acid for 2 days. After the body was removed it was soda blasted and treated with a neutralizer. The cars body received a full mini tub, relocated the rear springs inward, installed new lowered springs and shocks, new 12 bolt rear end with 373.1 and posi unit. Both rear quarters were replaced with NOS quarters and front left fender was replace with NOS fender. Weld in floor frame connectors were installed. The front clip was shipped to Detroit speed and was totally replaced with their state of the art front suspension kit, along with bear disc brakes front and rear. Full floor and truck pans were installed. New deck lid and SS Style hood was installed. It has a trunk mounted fuel cell, all new glass and trim, custom leather interior and car has a new painless wireing. The drivetrain is all new. Engine 383 small block custom built by Beck Racing Engines. 460 Dynoed HP, Induction: Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, Barry Grant Demon 750 Carb, NOS 125 HP single stage nitrous, Transmission: Custom built 700 R4, custom aluminum driveshaft Chassis: full mini tub. Brakes: Bear 13" Track front & 12" Touring rear, 8" power booster. Wheels: Budnik Gassers 18 X 8 front, 18 X 11 rear. Body: SS Glass Hood, smoothed firewall. Interior: electric seats, electric windows, DSE custom dash with autometer gauges, vintage A/C with front runner system. Paint: 4 coats of pearl white and 3 coats of clear. All hand rubbed and polished. This car was featured in Popular Hotroding Magazine in the August 2005 issue.
