Lot #507 - This Camaro went through a frame-off restoration in 2003 and as you can see is still show worthy. This arrow-straight body has front and rear spoilers, Cowl Hood and rear mounted antenna. The body was painted in base coat/clear coat LeMans Blue paint with a white hockey stripe. It was then wet sanded and buffed to an incredible deep finish. The RS headlights are functional. This Camaro was originally a Rally Sport car. It has an X11 trim tag. The chrome and trim are in excellent condition. Billet specialties 20" Stiletto wheels with performance rubber are mounted on the rear while 18" Stiletto wheels with the same performance rubber are mounted on the front. Peering through all four wheels you can see this Camaro is equipped with a Baer 4-wheel disc brake system. The 13" front Eradispeed rotors and 12" rear Eradispeed rotors with polished calipers provide plenty of stopping power. You will also notice this Camaro has billet parking lights, marker lights and tail lights. The deluxe white houndstooth interior is just as nice as the exterior. This stunning interior is equipped with custom upholstered 2000 Z/28 front seats, console, Corvans dash complete with Stewart Warner performance gauges, AM/FM/CD sound system, tilt wheel, power steering, billet steering wheel with leather wrap and a Hurst 5-speed shifter for the Tremec TKO 5-speed transmission. In the trunk you will find it is also custom upholstered with panels and white houndstooth material to match the interior. Under the hood you will find a detailed engine compartment that is home to a 2000 LS1 Corvette engine that has been updated with Street and Performance engine mounts and oil pan, Street and Performance mass air sensor with chrome throttle body, Speartech EFI engine harness with custom program and a set of Shorty headers plumbed through a dual exhaust system with polished Magnaflow mufflers. Stock, this engine produces 345hp but at this time it is estimated to be producing 375-400hp. Under the hood you will also see this Camaro is equipped with a Be Cool aluminum radiator and dual electric fans. These keep this LS1 running nice and cool. As mentioned before the Tremec 5-speed takes care of the shifting with a McLeod clutch and Wilwood hydraulic clutch assembly. The 12-bolt rear differential is equipped with a Moser posi-traction unit spinning 3.73 gears and it has an aluminum housing cover. This rear puts the hp to the ground with no problems. The front suspension has Detroit Speed and Engineering tubular upper control arms with del-alum bushings and Hotchkis drop springs. The rear suspension features Detroit Speed and Engineering 3" drop springs. This Camaro also has a polished stainless steel gas tank. This is the 1969 Camaro you have been looking for. It has been featured in 2 magazines.
