Lot #648.1 - A classic example of one of the most desired muscle cars in American history. This rare 10 10 Tuxedo Black X-33 D80 Z-28 is one of only a handful (only 345 were built in '69) of documented true black '69 Z's that exist today!! A real survivor, built at the Norwood, OH plant the first week of June 1969. It features a recent (2003) complete frame off as-built restoration to its present "like new" condition. Balancing and blueprinting of the DZ302 was completed under the direction of Marty Ryan at Danville Engine Rebuilders in Danville, KY. Options include: factory tach, console with gauge package, front and rear spoilers, rear bumper guards, AM/FM Cassette Radio, tilt steering column, rear power antenna, space-saver tire and rosewood interior trim package. This very special Z28 has walked its talk having been judged by many of the top experts in Camaro's earning it top honors at the 2006,2007 ISCA (international show car association) competition at Minneapolis. This is one mean machine!
