Description

Lot #1253 - Absolutely stunning professionally built custom Pro-Touring 1969 Chevy Chevelle SS convertible powered by a limited edition GM Performance products all-aluminum ZL1 big block with 520hp and 500ft/lbs of torque. Everything that could be polished under the hood was, starting with the GM Ram Jet fuel injection setup, Street & Performance throttle body, all steel braded lines, polished serpentine pulley system, Vintage Air system and fully polished Wizards aluminum radiator. This amazing power plant is mated to a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission with a Hurst Shifter. It puts the power to the pavement via a custom built bullet proof fabricated Ford 9" rear differential with 3.73:1 Richmond gears. The polished ZL1 sits in a beautifully finished and detailed engine bay with a smoothed firewall and under-hood, all color matched to the exterior of the vehicle. The exterior is finished in bright Daytona Yellow all surrounding a completely custom two tone leather interior with console, finished with a Budnik polished steering wheel, a custom carbon fiber dash with Autometer gauges and a Sony Stereo head unit. The undercarriage is just as amazing, boasting a completely powder coated frame and a color matched yellow painted underbelly with a custom made stainless steel fuel cell with electric fuel pump and a 3" polished stainless steel Magnaflow exhaust system. Addition to the performance is a polished Flaming River steering assembly, SSBC master cylinder, massive Wilwood cross-drilled and slotted rotors and 6-piston calipers, Heidts tubular upper and lower control arms, adjustable coil overs and huge heavy-duty anti-sway bars front and rear and polished Boyd Coddington wheels. This Chevelle is the best of the best. The craftsmanship that went into this Chevelle is second to none and a true rolling piece of art ready to show, drive and enjoy.
