Lot #670.1 - This is GSX #362 of the 678 produced in 1970. It was ordered with the historical Stage 1 performance package with automatic TH400 transmission and air conditioning. It was built during the third week of April in 1970 where it started out as a dealer demonstrator for a young salesman at Colonial Buick in New Orleans, Louisiana. It has a "Production Order Body Final" Build Sheet, GSX Historical Society documentation and a reproduction window sticker to show original options. This GSX was treated to a meticulous frame-off, Concours restoration by Then and Now Automotive. Each part of the car was removed, restored or replaced to accurately display the appearance of the car the day it rolled off the assembly line in Flint, MI in 1970. The lacquer paint is the original formula for Saturn Yellow, as well as the correct Satin Black striping. All mechanicals were rebuilt to meet or exceed factory specs. The car has only been driven 160 miles since it was restored. It has won several prestigious awards including Concours Gold at GS Nationals in 2007, Concours Gold at BPG Nationals in 2007, First Junior Award at AACA National Meet in 2007, 2007 AACA National award winner, Concours Gold at GS Nationals in 2008 and Concours Gold at BPG Nationals in 2009.
