Lot #1011 - This extraordinary Apollo White GSX Stage 1 is extremely rare. It is one of only 280 GSX Stage 1 automatics ever built. This GSX has its original born-with matching numbers engine, transmission and rear end. The car is fully documented with its original production order, factory Build Sheet and interior trim production ticket. Owned by the original purchaser until 2008 and documented with original title, showing only 32,000 original miles. The car underwent a complete frame-off restoration that was completed in 2009. Almost all of the interior is original, this GSX's body panels are also original and repair free. This is an unique and rare GSX that left the factory with front and rear spoilers, power disc brakes, power steering, M40 Turbo Hydramatic transmission, Goodyear G60x15 polyglas tires, chrome Rallye wheels and posi-traction rear end. Buick went all out in 1970 to produce one of the fastest muscle cars of the era, and the GSX was no disappointment. With its 455cid/360hp and 510ft/lbs of torque, this extremely rare and magnificently restored GSX Stage 1 is truly an outstanding example of one of Buick's greatest muscles cars. From the Double L Ranch Collection.
