Lot #1080 - This original Oldsmobile 442 W30 455ci 4-speed car is documented by the original authentic Window Sticker still in excellent condition. All title copies, including original $2.00 title copy, and ownership history from the day it was new. There is also a copy of original Bill of Sale, as well as a notarized statement from original owner about original options and history. The car has an amazing history and documentation book, all included with this sale. This is a beautiful restoration with special attention to detail, and it shows. It is one of 1,032 W30 4-speed holiday coupes produced. The original owner of this W-30 Charley hatch was stationed in the Navy, after returning from his duty's in October of 1969 he had a strong desire to own a muscle car and went to Edmark Motors in Caldwell Idaho and special ordered this car. Charley took delivery February 14th, 1970 on Valentine's Day, and just has he had ordered it there. Listed on the original sticker the W30 machine package, a Muncie M-21 close-ratio 4-speed transmission with a factory Hurst shifter, G-80 anti-spin rear axle, dual-intake forced air fiberglass hood and lightweight plastic red inner fenders, V02 heavy-duty radiator, wide oval tires with raised letters, deluxe push-button radio, sport-styled outside mirrors, Strato bucket seats and deluxe steering wheel. This all amounts to one serious muscle car that's all business. All options listed on original Window Sticker total $681.92, bringing the total price to $4,219.92. This 442 is finished in the beautiful original colors of Sherwood Green with black stripes and black interior and has a striking rear deck spoiler. It rides on Super Stock I wheels with correct Firestone bias-ply wide oval lettered tires. This car possesses an unquestioned authenticity and a known history from new.
