Lot #1252.1 - This fantastic Vitamin C Orange, AAR 'Cuda. The AAR option was offered only one year. There were 2,724 total built. This real AAR 'Cuda appeared in Muscle Car Review Magazine March 1989 and Mopar Muscle Magazine in Summer 1990. It includes the original Chrysler Broadcast Sheet, Copy of AAR Announcement Technical Service Bulletin, copy of letter to Plymouth dealers announcing the AAR 'Cuda with standard equipment listed and signed by F.G. Hazelroth, General Sales Manager. The model was in recognition of Dan Gurney's All-American Racing team participating in the ultra-competitive Trans Am Series with their AAR race-prepared 'Cudas driven by Dan and Swede Savage. This beautifully finished and engineered car runs with specially modified 340ci engine with 290hp. It also sports and aluminum intake manifold that is the base for the three two-barrel carburetors. A 4-speed manual transmission with pistol-shifter is floor-mounted between bucket seats. The Sure Grip differential has 3.91:1 gearing and front and rear sway bars, plus heavy-duty suspension and shock absorbers are also part of this exciting package. It has side exit exhausts and rally wheels. This 'Cuda has 51,516 original miles. The title reads exempt.
