Lot #328.1 - This car is one of the finest examples of the reproduced classic 1936 851 auburn boat tail speedster, one of the most recognized designs of the classic 1930's us automobiile industry. It was produced by glenn prey, who purchased the right to produce and title these cars as auburns. Glenn prey utilized real auburn hardware and design, which makes this car one of the best replicas available.. The car is assembled on a 1971 ford thunderbird chassis, and is one of just a few with the 429 cubic inch 350 horsepower big block ford engine and utilized a 4-speed manual transmission. This is the ultimate hot rod, with classic design, while having true muscle car performance. The owner is the just the second owner of the car which has 20,433 original miles. The car is original with the exception of the air cleaner, carburetor, and tires, and is displayed without the original bumpers, which will be provided with the car. The car has a soft convertible top with bolt in side windows and is built to be driven. It will turn heads wherever it is driven or shown and is a true pleasure to drive.
