Lot #634.1 - Formerly owned by NASCAR legend Bill Elliott of Dawsonville, GA. This fine example of a true American muscle car has spent most of its life in Georgia, including some time at Bill and Ernie Elliott's racing facility. Ford offered three different version of the BOSS Mustang - the BOSS 302, BOSS 429 & BOSS 351. "Road & Track" magazine did test on all three versions and proved the BOSS 351 to be the fastest of all, including the legendary BOSS 429. They did a feature article on the BOSS 351 and titled the article "The Fastest BOSS of Them All." This particular BOSS features some unusual options such as all-tinted glass, rear deck spoiler and Magnum 500 wheels. Documented by a Marti Report. It has the standard BOSS 4-speed and the 3:91 Traction-Lok axle. This fine example is a solid, rust-free Georgia car. It has only 47,000 original miles and has been restored. It does still have the original interior, as well as matching numbers. It is documented that, in 1971, this car did the quarter mile runs in the 13 seconds, right off the showroom floor.
