Lot #1337.1 - This is a rare 1971 Oldsmobile 442 convertible, 1 of 183 4-speed convertibles, not all 183 cars were made with the factory W25 outside air induction option. The car comes with the original factory dealer invoice, original bill of sale, original owner's manual and original Protect-O-Plate. This is a rare Ram Air 4-speed convertible. It was owned by an Oldsmobile dealer at Renner Oldsmobile and kept in his personal collection. I also have all original owner history. This car is loaded with factory installed options. The factory installed options include W25 outside air induction hood, matching numbers original 340hp 455cid 4-barrel Quadra Jet carburetor, M20 4-speed with original Hurst shifter, dual exhaust trumpet tips, bucket seats with console, factory gauge package, sport steering wheel, power steering, power disc brakes, original open face alternator, 3.42 anti-spin rear end, Super Stock I wheels, Goodyear Polyglas G70x14 tires, paint code "67" Sienna with matching interior and a black convertible top. All the drivetrain is factory original to the car. This is a fresh frame-off restoration just completed in October 2009. This car won its first Junior award at the AACA National Meet in Hershey, PA on 10/10/09. This is the ultimate ride with Root Beer candy paint. All colors are true and original to factory show room new. The bottom side is just as gorgeous as the top side, detailed from top to bottom. This car has been driven and tested and all operations of this 442 are in correct working order.
