Lot #432 - 1972 Chevrolet Nova fully built into a drag strip-ready race car. The main focus of this car is the 468ci big block. The engine started out life as a 1970 date-coded 454ci LS4 with a CGV suffix. The engine was punched out .060 over to make it a 468ci. It has hydraulic rollers, high-performance cam, built internals, headers, hi-rise intake and a high-flow fuel system. The driveline features a 2-speed Powerglide transmission and transbrake with 2-step and a high-performance stall converter. The rear end is a built Mark Williams 12-bolt spooled unit, and rear of the car is tubbed and narrowed. The rear compartment is all-aluminum and has a fuel cell with dual batteries for even weight distribution. The interior is fully caged with a racing seat, 5-point harness and all necessary gauges. The exterior of the car is finished in a fresh Satin Black paint scheme with new steel cowl hood, Weld Racing wheels and Goodyear Eagle slicks in the rear. The car is a tribute to the "Murder Nova" driven by Kurt Russell's character in the Quentin Tarantino movie "Death Proof." Vehicle is sold on Bill of Sale only and cannot be registered for on-road use.
