Lot #316 - Over $30,000 invested with receipts. This is the right one. These 2002 BMW's are highly collectible and valuable. This car started as an original rust-free Portland, Oregon automobile. The car was recently dismantled to a shell, doors removed, bonnet and deck lid. All glass was removed, door handles and all exterior trim to restore the car. The car was stripped to bare metal, primed, blocked and refinished in the correct factory Inca Orange color. The car was sprayed with a base coat clear coat. All exterior trim, moldings, bumpers, door handles and stainless were cleaned, polished, straightened and refinished as new. The car retains the original black interior, door panels, carpets, dash and a new headliner was installed. The drivetrain is the original 4 cylinder with a Weber carburetor and custom exhaust. The transmission was updated with a new factory 5-speed gear box. All of the suspension was updated with sway bars, top and bottom, urethane bushings. This car was done right with no expense spared. Highly detailed engine bay, undercarriage and trunk. Restored to concours condition. Runs and drives like new.
